Panels on the Toolbar

Panels are core to the MeeGo computer experience. When you select an icon from the toolbar, a panel appears. Panels provide information and context for tasks you can perform, as well as a way to open applications.

Note: If you have more than one application or panel open, click the icon for the panel you’re in to close it.

Displays your recently played and viewed music and videos.

Gives you important status summaries, access to your folders and to all your settings, as well as allowing you to manage all your currently connected devices.

12 NetworksNetworksYour Networks icon changes depending on the state of your computer's connection. You can see the range of possible network icon states at Status Icons on the Toolbar.
13Time and DateYour Time and Date icon reflects the time and date set on your computer. You can see how to update that information at Set the Date & Time.
14 BatteryBatteryYour Battery icon changes depending on the amount of power available in your battery. You can see the range of possible battery icon states at Status Icons on the Toolbar.

Note: You can add, remove, and reorder the panels on the toolbar if you Customize the Toolbar.
